About

Laos is bordered by Burma, Cambodia, China, Thailand, and Vietnam. The country is mostly mountainous and thickly forested, with the Mekong River forming a large part of its western boundary.  


Laos is known for its stunning natural beauty, its rich cultural heritage, and its friendly people. Popular activities include hiking, trekking, kayaking, and visiting ancient temples. Laos is a major producer of coffee, and timber.

Dry season (November to April): This is the best time to visit Laos, as the weather is dry and sunny. The average temperature ranges from 25°C to 35°C, and there is very little rainfall. This is a good time to go trekking, kayaking, and visiting temples.


Wet season (May to October): The wet season is less popular than the dry season, but it can still be a good time to visit Laos. The average temperature is still warm, but there is more rainfall. This is a good time to see the countryside at its greenest,- and to visit waterfalls. However, some roads and trails may be impassable during the wet season.
